Allison and Aidan met while stationed as Park Rangers together out in the remote end of the Anza Borrego Desert. They worked together wrangling drunks, cleaning up bodily fluids, and searching for lost hikers. Over that first year they gained a lot of respect for one another, became good friends, and good Ranger Partners. They always had each others backs, made each other laugh, and gave each other a shoulder to cry on. Eventually that friendship grew into something more. They started sharing dinners together, and since the nearest “restaurant” was over 30 miles away, that meant a lot of home cooked meals. They started dating and became Partner Partners. The continued to get closer through their years at Agua Caliente. Over that time they fought a fire together, found a lost child, and Allison took Aidan to the emergency room… several times. They fell in love. Although they left the desert behind, they continued to grow closer. Looking for rocks, backpacking, taking care of their plants, spearfishing, and just being together. Eventually Allison gave Aidan permission to propose, and in November of 2024… up a dry gulch way back in the desert… he did. And she said yes!

Aidan and Allison are very excited to celebrate their love with everyone as Partner Partner Partners.
